At least we decided to take this Friday off to finish packing up the camper before we head out to pick up Syd from camp. Usually I would say let's just get out of work early, but that hasn't been really working out for me lately. I just cannot seem to get out the door. I have to find some secret passage to sneak out the door so no one sees me. Then there is this mysterious 5-10 minutes of time loss between my door to my office, the elevator and finally arriving at my car. I always wonder about those that say they are leaving work at 11:00 and actually get in their car somewhere around 11:00.
We are now on our way with camper and two dogs in tow.
We decide to stop in Avon at Tom Wahls for ice cream, again. Next, we pick up Syd. Tatum spots her and runs up to hug her.
We get all Syd's stuff after watching her closing ceremonies and then drive to Keuka Lake to set up the camper and make dinner. We are starving!! The next morning we cooked a yummy breakfast after pulling the kids out of bed.
After eating breakfast, we went to the Windmill in Penn Yan, which is a craft and farm market. It was soooo hot out that day. Tatum got a new purple headband.
Dave was a little tired from our hot day at the craft and farm market.
After his little nap, we decided to take the kids down to the swimming area to cool off. As soon as we got down there, it started to thunder and rain. Back to the campsite to cook dinner. After dinner we made jiffy pop - Who knew they still made this stuff??
