Let's try the beach again....(July 27th, 2008)

Time to pack up to go home and it's raining outside. It is so hard to get motivated when you know it is wet and muddy just outside the door and there are two kids and two dogs that need to go to the bathroom. I peak out at Ellie and Regan and the tails start wagging and hitting the cabinet really loud. So much for peaking.

The good news is that the rain stops while we are packing up the camper and we decide to go to the beach area after we are all packed up. Kids are excited for that news, but I am still a little bit nervous because the sky looks like it could get dark any minute.


We get down to lower level and realize that I have forgotten to leave the flip flops out of the camper. They are way packed in and there is no hope of getting those. So they get to wear their rain boots. Ha ha ha.


We tie the dogs up to the picnic table while Dave takes the kids in the water. Kids loved it. Tatum didn't really like walking in it, but she seemed to like the water. The view was great and there were tons of boats and people water skiing.




After swimming we had lunch and got ready to go home. We left Keuka Lake and as soon as we got down the road from the campground it started to pour. Good timing!
