It's Party Day (July 5th, 2008)

None of us really wanted to get out of bed too early since we went to bed so late after the fireworks the night before. Tatum was the last one up and very excited to see that her painting of uncle sam and flip flops were still on her legs from yesterday. After some breakfast we all got to work on some final prep outside. Had to get the tablecloths and decorations up.

The party officially started at 3:00. We had a big white tent and a bounce house. Poor Uncle Mike was getting attacked by Tatum in the bounce house. Doesn't look like he minds too much.




The cooking started around 4:00 by Dave and Danny. Mike was supervising :)
Poor Dan had this tiny little spatula to flip all those burgers over the hot grill.

Lots of eating and socializing.






This is the hot dog that lay near that bounce house and went unclaimed for hours....


The kids all discovered a spot to catch tadpoles and get their feet really really muddy!




Played a huge game of kickball in the backyard. Started out as kids and adults....and ended up just as adults. Kids ended up back in the bounce house.

After kickball, it was time for the bonfire. We had smores and campfire fruit pies.

After all the guests had left and the fire had died down, we left the bonfire at 12:30 A.M. Kids needed to get to bed and so did we. Dave, myself, and Cheryl were tired from our day of partying.......

Thanks everyone that helped with bringing food and coming to our party. We had so much fun!!!
