Syd was in her class play last night. Her class has been working so hard putting a play together with another class. There were songs and dancing. The main theme of the story is about a girl elephant named Horton and she is a Webkinz that has come to life. She is upset because no one names a girl elephant Horton, so it is suggested her name be changed to Hortina. (Webkinz are stuffed animals that are really popular right now. They have a website that kids log in, give them a name and create houses and feed them, etc.)
Every single child in those two classrooms had some sort of speaking or dancing part. It was hilarious watching them all dance and bump into each other. One almost took out the backdrop.
It was great!! Sydney had two specific parts in it. She was a dancing elephant and a ballet dancing bird. Dave, myself, Tatum, Mom, Dad, and Grandma Al all went to watch and have cookies in the gym after.
I'm also putting a picture in of the turtle shell I made.
