Crazy Us

So I thought I would start a blog for everyone to keep up with us and what we are all doing. It's been a hectic week so far and about to get more hectic. (It did start out with Tatum and I seeing a rainbow just outside of daycare this morning. )
I'm leaving to go get the kiddos in a few to go to get some food.

Next on to the high school to get their hair and makeup all set so and into their costumes. They have dress rehearsal tonight and are running through the whole performance. Should be fun. Well, I should say...should be interesting to see if Tatum even does her dance. So far we haven't seen it yet. She freezes like a Popsicle when it's parent watch week during her dance class. All the parents look at us with those eyes like "make her dance" or "you poor parents", or my personal favorite "can't you control your bratty child look". But she really does like the dance class or so we hear, when we aren't there. I remember seeing those types of children when Sydney was her age. Sydney was nothing like that, so I didn't understand it at the time. Syd loved being the center of attention and still does. You can put her anywhere at anytime and she smiles and gets along like nothing. Tatum is COMPLETELY different. You have to coax and prod and then you aren't even certain what you will get.

Sydney is dancing to a song called the Boys from NYC. Her costume is black and yellow. Tatum is dancing to the Merry ol Land of Oz. The little girls are all Dorothy with blue and white sparkly dresses. Their tap shoes are being spray painted red too.

Back to my evening schedule. So I am to watch the whole rehearsal. Hopefully it goes well and then we get to see Mike and Michelle for a little while. I also need to squeeze in some time to make two turtle costumes for Syd's play this week.
