I have already shared this story with some of you, but if I haven't...hear ya go. This is from a just about two weeks ago.
Tatum has this bedtime ritual and she is very particular about it. Let's face it. She's particular about EVERYTHING. Must get that from her father...lol. After the whole teeth brushing and bathroom time, it's off to bed. Then we read books and sing one song of her choice. I was leaving the next day to go to a conference for work in Alex Bay so I let her pick two songs. Her first choice was on top of Spaghetti.....the world's longest song...ugh. And does anyone really sound any good good singing that song?? Well I sure don't!!! People would probably pay for me to stop singing that song...except for my Tate. She loves it when I draw each word out cheeeeeeese, taaaaaaaable, floooooooooor, sneeeeeeeeeezed, then pretend to really sneeze at the end sends her into fits of giggles. Cracks me up.
The best part of the story is when I asked her what song she wanted to sing next. She thought for a bit and then said the alphabet song. Then looking all proud asked if I wanted to sing it in English or Goulash. hmmmm, I thought. Goulash. So I of course went: Huh? She again says English or Goulash? like I'm being ridiculous. "like adios, mom." I'm trying not to laugh and I say you mean Spanish? ha ha ha.....Yep, that's what she meant.
