The girls got their hair cut. We have been trying to find time to do this and finally fit it in out schedule this week. Sydney got 4 inches cut off!!
Sydney has finished 3rd grade. Her last day was yesterday. I cannot believe how fast this year went. Maybe it was the move to the new school and all the settling in to the new house, but it just went by so quick. She is getting so big so fast....sigh.
Tatum is just loving the cherry trees at our house. Dave brought a bunch in for her to try and they weren't exactly ripe yet. She eats them like an apple right around that tiny little pit in the middle. Syd, Tatum, and I went on a ride last night on the 4-wheeler and had to stop a few times to reach up and grab a few down. Some had spots on them from the bugs already and we talked about how we shouldn't eat the ones that had the black spots because they could be little bitty worms. She was so excited to tell Dave about eating more of the cherries. She went on to tell him about grabbing them while we were on the 4-wheeler, how yummy they were, but she didn't eat any with any pimples on them. We all just sort of stopped for a second.....Too funny. She meant worms or black marks. Ha ha ha. Vocabulary and kids, sure makes things funny.
