On our way to Baltimore

We just went to Baltimore to see Mike and Michelle. We left late afternoon on a Tuesday and stopped just outside Harrisburg to spend the night to break up the trip a little for the kids and us.

On Wednesday morning, we left for Hershey World to ride the "How we make Chocolate" ride.

We were given chocolate as soon as we stepped in the door. We were all asked if we had been kissed and then got Hershey kisses. Then it was off to ride the Chocolate Tour Ride. If that doesn't make you run right out to the store and buy chocolate, nothing will. They even pipe the smell of chocolate in to one part of the ride. I liked the singing cows. On our way off the ride, we got more candy handed to us. We walked through the enormous shopping area. Next to the 3-D show where we laughed, had bubbles around us, and got spritzed with water. They give you more chocolate when you leave the 3-D show.

We went back through the shopping area and all made purchases. Next we got lunch and Tatum got very blue lips from her icee drink thing. Just as we were getting ready to leave, Tate looks at us and asks to go on the ride again. So off we went to learn about chocolate, again. And get more chocolate and none of us were complaining.

Next stop was Perrydell Dairy Farm. We went on a tour. First stop: the picture spot.

The kids spotted the calves next and were off and running. SOOOOOO cute!!!! Syd's favorite spot. She kept going between them all and they would come right up to you, probably because they thought you were bringing them something to eat.

I want the brown one!!

Next to see all the ladies in the barn.

There was a milking station for the kiddos. Water came out when you milked the cow. This was by far Tatum's favorite thing. The child was soaked after she went back about 4 times to keep milking that cow.

Here are some videos of the cow milking experience and the brown calf.

and one of the cutie that I want!!!

After this we went to Utz potato chip factory and watched how they make potato chips. We walked right along the production line - well up above from windows. The workers would wave as they looked up and saw us. We got a free sample bag of chips on our way out to go to the Utz store, where we bought more items. I think the four of us ate our way through Pennsylvania.
Now it was time to drive the rest of the way to Baltimore. The kids ran in the door to see Uncle Mike. Mike made us dinner when we got there and the kids got to tackle Aunt Michelle not much before we ate. Now it was time to relax and hang out with giggly kids, Mike, and Michelle.
