And so the summer went on with little conversations like this happening. "Did you find the bag of hardware for the swing set yet?" - "no" Then one afternoon on our way back from a camping trip, we stopped to get coffee at a drive through. They completely forgot to put any sugar in my coffee and if anyone knows how I drink my coffee, then you know this was TERRIBLE. So I start to look through my purse and glove compartment to see if I have an extra packet of sugar. As I am dumping the contents of the glove compartment on my lap, what do I find? THE BAGGIE OF HARDWARE!!!! "I found it!" I yell.
Then it all starts to come back to me. When we were dropping off the swing set to my parents house, we were in a hurry and didn't want to lose the baggie of nuts and bolts so I probably said something really clever like "I'm putting this baggie in here, so don't forget when we get ready to put the swing set back together." Dave most likely looked and nodded and didn't even hear me. I of course didn't remember either. We are so brilliant :)
This is when Dave looks over at me in the car and goes "ya know, I think I do remember something about that now." - yeah right. Oh, and I still didn't have any sugar for my coffee but the good news is that Dave gave me his coffee and drank mine. What a guy!!
The girls originally received this as a birthday gift a few years ago and it was set up at our previous house. Dan came over for the day to help Dave put it together. Here are the pictures from the original setup. (Ellie was a very good supervisor.)

I just think this picture is funny with Syd's arms and how she is running.

Sydney spent most of the day talking through the fence to the neighbor girl.

Yay, the finished swing set!!!

Tatum was soooo excited to go down the slide for the first time.

We donated our previously well-loved swing set in the background to my mom and dad.

Tatum and Hadley so excited for the new playground.

Hadley, Tatum, and Sydney posing for a quick picture.

Now, here is the swing set all set up at the new house. I helped with a few parts and Dave's dad helped finish putting it up when they were here visiting.
