Summer 2014

So summer 2014 is in full swing and keeping us busy.  Tatum has started soccer and is loving every minute of it.  She has scored a bunch of goals so far this season.  Her game did get cancelled in the 2nd quarter on Tuesday due to the storms that were coming through.  So we did what any good parents would do, we still took her for ice cream.  Technically her team was winning. 
All was well and good until we got home and our power was out.  Ugh.  It's hard enough having the power out but it's worse when you were rushed after work, make dinner, left the dirty dishes all over the table and counter because we had to run out to soccer, and then to come home to a dark house and trying to clean all that up in insufficient lighting was no easy task. ha ha ha.
The girls helped and then played boardgames to pass the time.
