Indianapolis Part 4

We woke up and drove to Conner Prairie Interactive History Park. This place was soooo much fun. It was all hands on and we spent the whole day there. The entrance building had a lot of background info for the park and some play areas for kids. Time to dress up.

The girls made marble paper.

We went through the Lenape Indian Camp

This guy taught us a bunch of words that the Lenape Indians spoke.

The Conner homestead had a barn with lots of animals running about. We spent a lot of time in the barn playing with all the baby animals.

Cute video of  the lambs.

There was an interactive hot air balloon area.

We each got a turn making candles by dipping the wick into hot wax.

The girls got to help round up the chickens and feed the pigs since it was the end of the day when we made it to the "working farm" area.  Pig food stinks!! But the piglets were so stinkin cute!!!

 Goodbye Conner Prairie

Time to start the drive home.
