Camping at Keuka Lake

Keuka Lake State Park is one of our favorite camping trips and we really try to make it there at least once every summer.A few reasons why I like it:
  1. we stop at Tom Wahls on the way there
  2. the campsites are huge
  3. there is an Amish bulk food store nearby
  4. we always go to the Windmill
  5. the kids love the playgrounds and there are few really new ones
  6. there is a small beach for the kids, but not so big that it draws a huge crowd
  7. there are a few hiking trails
  8. it's not that far of a drive
  9. we stop at Tom Wahls on the way home
So we were able to make it there again this August and it was just as good as ever. It was a great family weekend. My parents camped with us...or I should really say they camped and we tagged along. We did bring our own camper, but we were hardly ever in it. Here are some pictures from the trip:
