It was a big week at the
Gagne house. Tatum lost her very first tooth. She has been talking about this since the beginning of kindergarten. Oh my goodness, if our walls could talk, the stories that our walls could tell you.....
OK, so the stories wouldn't be all that juicy but they do center a lot around teeth and birthdays. Since the birthdays have passed, we talk about teeth.... A LOT!! Well, it finally happened. Tatum lost her very first tooth. I went to pick her up at her after school program and she started yelling and running at me. Of course, I had no possible idea what she could be excited about :-) I mean that darling little tooth hadn't just been hanging on by a thread for the last week with just about everyone offering to pull it out. So the not so forgetful tooth fairy came and went and left $1.

The very next day I am picking them up from after school care and Sydney walks over to me in her 11 year oldish way. Shows me the gaping hole where her tooth used to be and tells me that she lost her last tooth that day. I had just been notified of this tooth being loose about 2 days before. What a difference from the first tooth to the last tooth. The next thing Syd says "Do I have to get braces now?" She of course was more than happy to collect the tooth fairy money for her last time.
