Peanut Butter, Blanket, and my other curtains

Since I made those first set of curtains, I decided to try a more complicated set. I couldn't find any curtains for my kitchen that I really liked. I love lots of color. My kitchen colors are mostly yellow with accents of blue and green. I found three different fabrics that I liked. I also made a matching valance for the window over the sink. (forgot to take a picture of that - whoops)



We have a great new food processor and a huge bag of peanuts. So we decided to make peanut butter. It was pretty good. I cut poor Dave's head off in this picture - sorry Dave.







Sydney received a fleece blanket kit for a Christmas gift. She had to cut the slits around the outside edges and then knot the edges. Tatum liked it, so we decided to go to JoAnne Fabrics and pick out some fleece fabric so she could make her own. Here she is knotting her two pieces of fleece together. This is the warmest blanket. It is a cute owl print with pumpkins. The other side is solid pink.
