You know you have kids and have gone to a whole new level when you start singing Jonas Brothers songs and various others when they aren't even around. I'm singing them while doing the dishes, folding laundry, getting ready in the morning, etc. You get the picture. Then it gets worse. I start telling myself to stop singing these songs. Now I'm talking to myself. Great...just great. First I'm humming along and singing my kids' songs and now I'm talking to myself. What's next? Looking in the mirror and giving myself a stern talking to?
Sydney had this Teddy Bear CD that she used to listen to ALLLLLL the time on the way to daycare in the morning. The entire CD has people singing in a British accent and is really pretty fun to sing along with. It is jam packed fun for about 15 songs - oh yeah. There were a few times that I found myself still listening to the CD quite loudly and singing away to the Teddy Bear CD long after I had dropped her off to daycare. Embarrassing?......hmmmmm.....maybe.
What has my world become?
So if you see me driving along, "alone in the car" talking away or singing, let's just all pretend you didn't see that. You don't even have to feel bad that you didn't wave because I probably won't notice anyway with my great concerts going on in the car.
