Museum

Tatum was invited to her very first birthday party and to make it even better, it was at the Strong National Museum of Play. What a birthday party that was and what a good time she had!!! The museum does a great job of taking care of every detail. They have a staff that waits on the children the entire time and waits on the parents. Here is a picture of them after they all were at the wall with their eyes closed and one hides and object. Then there is a mad dash to find the object in the room.

The party got to ride the train together and all yelled Happy Birthday.

Sydney even got to ride the train.

After the party, all the guests rode the carousel together.

Look at Syd in the background spinning like crazy. She did that for the entire ride.

With a birthday party, you get to play at the museum the rest of the day. So off to shop at the little Wegmans. I don't know how many time Tatum, Sydney, and Tatum's friend Lily went through the checkout line.

The travelling exhibit is Curious George and this is a fruit stand he visits with the man in the yellow hat.

Strong's newest exhibit is the Berenstain Bears. Lily and Tatum played in here for a VERY VERY VERY long time.

Syd played us some tunes......

while Tatum and I had a tea party.

Here we are saying farewell at the door to Sesame Street.

We stopped at the food court on our way out and had some dinner. We were very tired and very hungry from our big day at the museum. Time to go home.
